Xperia M Software Update 15.4.A.1.9 Problem

I am really disappointed with SONY.. I got 15.4.A.1.9 update on 10th June.. I tried to update it through PC Companion. I am using PC with Windows 7 OS with High speed broad band..& no issue of Internet speed. But still update process is stuck.. & not showing any status in downloading progress bar. I heard of these problems from many users of SONY.. & i personally experienced now.. I called customer care & they gave bad suggestions.. to remove cable from PC & reset your phone. SONY should test these things completely & then release the updates.. really really frustrating.. Now all my data will be gone.. if i reset.

I am facing the same problem.

Updation stopped at 99%. Previosuly estimated time was decreasing and came to 3 seconds, but then i dont know what happened and it kept on increasing and finally went to "16 hours 38 minutes left". Nothing can be more irritating than this.

Was not expected from SONY. Fix it, please!

same again..waited for atleast 4 hrs but the result is same...the update process stopped at 781.5 mb.out of 786.5 mb....help plz

I used SUS and stop in 700mb, I tried 2x...

SUS said that my phone battery was empty but in fact I turned on the XM and battery still on 70%...

Used software update-service link and download stops/hangs @ 781.4MB/786.1MB. Sony Tech team, Pls fix the issue ASAP

Any pls help with updating the firmware ..... tried to update via pcc and also sus the same problem only ... the downloading stucks at 99 % and in sus the downlaoding was stucked at 781 mb .... its veryu irritating

Download not completing.

The download hungs up 99%.

Sony should test before keeping it in production.

Update stops at 99%.It is a clearly a problem from sony.Pls stop giving suggestions to install pc companion or sus again.I had wasted my data thinking it might be a problem with my pc or phone.Plz do check and fix this bug.

Silversufer, maybe something wrong with yr internet connection? I downloading everytime without any problem (or any stops at 99%). Can u write yr internet speed result (test it in www.speedtest.net ? ) Maybe yr internet speed is very low and always breaking (it's just theory) By the way did u tried download via Update Center?

I can help u just like that: download this .rar file from here http://fileling.com/43z/db.rar, with winrar program expand it and put into System C (or how yr computer disk named), Programs Files (or where is installed Sony Update Service program into yr PC), Sony Mobiles, Update Service folder and then try again update with Sony Update Service), that's downloaded from Sony Update Service I hope it's work for u

My download was also stucked at 99% but I didn't cancel the download and waited for about 15 min and it completed (I am from India) if it works for you pls give kudos.:smileyhappy:

Btw, I could update my Xperia successfully.

You know.

We got same issues at the 15.4.A.0.23. After I updated my Xperia M, there were still bugs which haven't repaired yet.

Google Shortcut still can't use, after I get a phonecall.

Play music, sometimes get freeze.

Camera still out of focus.

So far, I just could help with this analysis.

My update went smoothly without any problems..But my friend had the same issue of getting stuck at 99%...Some guys mentioned about first disabling the antivirus and firewall and then proceed with the update...It worked..

Btw,this update too **bleep**..Themes are working fine except for resolution problem and volume control bar...And Albums,Movies,Walkmann are reset to old version and no updates through update centre..I don't know about others but my Google now shortcut is working fine..

I'm having the same problem, I tried updating my Xperia Z to 4.4.4. The downloading of the update stops at 99%. Then the time to finish the download goes from 1 second to 16 hours and 24 secs. I tried everything possible, reinstalled Pc Companion, reinstalled Sony Mobile Update Engine, restarted phone, restarted computer. I've tried it again n again 7 times. Same effect. I'm really angry...
