Xperia Z1 Wifi problem

I bought my Xperia Z1 some 3-4 months ago. Since the first day I have been experiencing wifi issues. The phone keeps showing as connected to my wifi, but stops connecting to the internet. The down arrow in the wifi icon stays greyed out, and nothing related to the internet works. The notifications stop, online messages stop and the browser also stops connecting. I have to reconnect to wifi to correct this, and it happens every 5-10 minutes., especially when my phone is idle for more than 5 minutes.

This is really poor quality for a flagship phone. I switched from samsung to sony because i thought they would provide better quality. I am quite busy and don't have time to run around the city getting a phone fixed. these things are supposed to make your life easier, not more difficult. And anyway, sony service centres in India are crap, even if i take it to one of them, they'll just mess it up even more.

Thanks for a premium quality phone that can't even do something that even the cheapest, most low quality phones can do.

You should stop by a sony service:
