Hello Sony. I bought your newest flagship week ago and i have problems with it. My phone is shuting down on random, either just scrolling, or listening to music. It shut itself down, then boot up again. It is annoying. Brand new phone and i already have issues with it. I even used PC Companion to repair the phone but nothing happened, still same thing. Please respond and help me with this.

Regards

My phone was working fine then started restarting randomly. I then did a factory reset and since then it is a pain to stop it restarting if using a game or watch a video. Getting a replacement sent but found that a minute in the fridge got it back up and running. Therefore think mine is an overheating issue.

Unfortunately I have the same thing with the other sim. I wouldn't care, this phone was incredible when it worked. If you could think of anything else that would be appreciated. Although I'm getting a replacement, I could do without being without a phone for a few days when I send this back (online sale). Only way to get this working again is a minute in the fridge!

You could try a software repair:

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

Make sure you have at least 60% battery.

So Santos, how many times does ur phone go restarting in a day? Mine not that much but it is still there. no matter how intense i use my phone it still happens. today was while i was on a phone with gf, yesterday it was while i was simply scrolling between homescreen. Its been like 9 hours that my phone is working and i had no restarts. I used SUS in that time, maybe it fixed that. Please keep us posted what did u do with ur Z2. if u go in a sony center, ask them, squeeze answers out of them.

regards

I tried that last night, took sim card from my z2 and played games, tried to heat him a bit and indeed he didnt restart. i put back sim card this morning and i had no restart yet. My gf tried to call me but she said i was not available. Maybe its faulty sim after all?
