Network problem in Xperia T2 ultra dual sim

@Rickard, Alexander,

I have been consisitently faced a network problem in my phone. Both SIM 1 and SIM 2 are affected.

even when the netwrok shows full signal, the phone is unreachable and can’t make any call.

Diag:

1. Software update through Sony PC Companion 2.1.

2. Software update by local sony authorised service centre.

3. Different service provider like Airtel, Voda fone with old /new SIM card at multilocation.

4. Tried all conbination like SIM1 - WCDMA Preferred /GSM , WCDMA only, SIM2 GSM only. (In my case SIM1 user for 3G Data+voice call SIM2 used for only voice calls).

till problem in unsolved.

Now Local service centre wants to OPEN THE PHONE & fix it (the hardware) but I don't want some body will do a R&D on my 2 months old phone and return back to me with lots of dammage/ Scratches.

Please help.

Same problem I am also facing. Got sims (vodafone: sim1) and (airtel: sim2) changed but problem not solved. Visited service centre. They upgraded software /reinstalled it But problem remained unsolved. Just switching off and on resolves issue but on/off happens only when I come to know that phone network is false. Actually network has stopped working. Any solution let us know...

Can you give me a brief why service center people want to open and check the hardware for Network and wify issue or what need will be check /repair inside the phone.

Can I get a replacement instead of repair?

There is no answer to this other than replacing the phone. Tried everything ... Sony knows there is no solution and hence no response

Yeah i agree with this issue.

Signal strength is full but Unreachable tone for the user.

Invested 25 K and Reporting bugs here

No repsonse from the moderator . @Rickard

All are having the same problem with the same T2 Ultra Dual. The Sony website is now clearly mentioning about July as the KitKat update, but not sure if ALL these problems of camera, sound, network will get solved.

Facing same problem....show full network but when called by other person it says the user is unreachable....bought this phone due to the Dual SIM capabilities.... Rickard reply at least

This is actually happen when the network switching from 3G to 2G (sim1) and moving from low coverage to full coverage area. Unfortunately it effecting both the sim and become unreachable.:smileysad:

I also having same problem with my T2 ultra.

Even Experia Customer center is also not providing any help.

They are just pasing the ball to Sim network operator.

All these camera, sound, wifi, Network etc are hardware issue how can software/ firmware update can solve the problem.

This indeed is a Hardware problem. Other fancy or stability features were added in the Kit Kat version. I don't see any better Camera performance. Sony might feel they have worked on it, but it seems they have again failed in the testing.

What really makes them say, better performance. We need details.

See this nmews article ... this is customer service & taking accountability of mistakes & working on it. Kudos to Motorolla & Flipkart. Sony, learn from them. Refund our money.
