many applications not responding and phone going for automatic reboot

Hi

My Xperia SP is running on latest Software
For the last couple of weeks, i see some applications stop responding and a pop up comes with message ' this application is.not responding, do you want to wait, close or report '
Whatever options i press,.it goes for a reboot

The most common applications facing this issue are
1. Xperia Home
2. Google. chrome
3. Sociallife News
4. WhatsApp

Please let me know what is wrong

also as far as i know you get options for"wait and force close" not "report" do you have task killers or this kind off boost apps?

For Xperia Home, there is no option of Report. For Google Chrome and WhatsApp, Report option is there.

I used the phone for about 8 hours in Safe Mode yesterday; no such issues happened; when i changed back to normal mode, crashes started but the frequency is less. How to understand then which 3rd party application is causing the problem?

first look for app than have access to system files..like anti-virus..cleaner..batery saver..task killer..booster

i don't have applications like anti-virus, battery saver (apart from Sony's native battery saver mode like Stamina, etc),task killer

I uninstalled the Background Defocus application because I installed it last; after that the number of reboots have come down but not resolved completely

i dont think background defocus do this..cause i have it without problem

try disablaing chrome..

do you have mcafee??if yes uninstall it

I had uninstalled Mccafee a long time back

I disabled Chrome; and problem has not occured so far

What browser to use then if Chrome is disabled?

But i only saw an option to disable Chrome. Can't i uninstall it? If i keep two browsers won't it be heavy for RAM?

No,you cannot remove it because it is default.If you disable,it will not use RAM.

does not look like a problem with Chrome

I have disabled chrome and using Dolphin for a couple of days

Today from the morning, the phone stopped responding thrice; each time I had to remove the cover and give a hard reboot from the button below battery because the phone did not restart on its own

Should I re install the software?
