I've been having random reboots. Usually once every day. Happens when I browse, using camera, lockscreen etc. Can't determine a special action what is causing it.

Also the touchscreen can behave weird sometimes aswell. Also the spellchecker can behave strange aswell replacing the shown word with a dot.

I've ofc repaired the phone with Sony update several times and still the same. I would think it's software issues but it is getting annoying. I've owned the phone for three weeks and I'm so unimpressed with Sony atm. If they would offer me my money back I would take it and buy the OnePlus One when it comes. High end phones like this should work!!

So Sony? What can you do? I've spoken to support already and followed their instructions.

I just suggested you to remove to see if the reboot still occurs.

I think you should get to a sony service:

I was offered one last time I spoke to Sony but waited since it is highly possible this is software related. And I don't know if Sony themselves read over at xda developers forum. But many are having the same problems and other after the Kitkat update.

Sorry to hear about your phone.

I recommend that you first try your phone in safe mode to make sure this is not caused by an installed app. If this also happens in safe mode i suggest that you contact a service location or your local support team for assistance.

Thought I'd list a few occasions that would cause reboots as I've noticed. Remember that it's random so the things below doesn't always cause reboots.

1. Opening camera
2. Taking pictures
3. Selecting ar effect
4. Opening an app, in this case it's Dolphin browser.
5. Sending a msg in whatsapp
6. I plugged it in the dk31 charger stand. Froze and then reboots

These are what I remember that is causing it. If I think logical about it and from experience in computers. Its about processes or needing more juice to maybe speed up cpu or activating more cores. I dunno how these things are handled in phones with more cores and so on.

The reboot when I connected the charger was abit strange at first, but I'm guessing a process is starting there aswell with software involved.

I would love to be able to run a logcat or something similar so you could get logs. That would tell more about what is happening. That however does not seem supported.

I can reroot the phone and run this if Sony shows me what log app to run. I would like to get to the bottom with this problem.
