rear camera stopped working

Hello,
Camera just stopped working, tried on camera app and diagnostic mode and it just show black screen. Sometimes the camera app show "camera is not available" then crashed to home screen.

Several days ago the camera is still working. I accidentally pressed camera mode on whatsapp and it still working normally. Since then i just use the phone like normal.

Any suggestion to fix this problem?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Try running the phone in safe mode (press down on/off button > press and hold on 'turn off phone') to see if this might be caused by 3rd party apps.

I tried testing the camera in safe mode and the problem persist. Is it hardware problem then?

my best advice is to clear cache in storage and restart the phone if that don't work repair via pc companion

Not necessarily a hardware issue. I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.
