I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
How to backup?

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center.

hey,

Since I upgraded to 4.4.4 I see graphic errors.

Sometimes, when I pull the status bar down some spots starts flickering and get transparent. I have to get to the homescreen, and try it again to fix this. but it keeps reoccuring.

I haven't figured out what triggers this behaviour and it doesn't happen always.

Does anybody know where the problem is and what I can do to fix this.

I hope I described my problem so that its understandable. I try to get a screenshot the next time it happens.

If you have not tried this I would advise doing so.

I did a repair of my phone software before (on 4.4.3) and lost some preinstalled apps that could write to SD. when I updated to 4.4.4 they came back, but I don't want to do lose them again.

Another Problem is that the Sony backup function just does not work. I was told everytime I tried it that the backup isn't complete. It took ages and was worthless.

If "repairing" my phone is just maybe the solution I will not do it. It is not a major problem, its just annoying.

But thanks for the advice.

If there is a solution that will definitely fix this problem I am happy to try it.

No I don't think it will fix your problem. It's like saying to customer who have problem with windows to format and re do windows to get away with the issues. Very bad advice I would say, given by sony. Without even trying that themselves
