I don't want to mention other brands names here as a respect for Sony, but the update of others were fast and continues to fix the errors. So at least you know that someone is doing his work.
I hope that someone from Sony just respect back his clients and at least reply back when the update will be ready.
This is smart phone that we are using in our daily life ( business before family) so I hope they understand how important this cadget to us.

Alis, that's an app update; same like from Google Play. Firmware is a system update. Sony claims that they released the update simultaneously to all carriers in that country and push it that it's the carriers responsibility to release it. So whoever runs the networks in your area is suppose to release the firmware update, whether you subscribe or not.

Alis, even tho you purchased the Z2 direct from a dealer.....it is whichever SIM/NETWORK/CARRIER/PROVIDER you use your Z2 with that sends out the software updates......here in the UK we have lots of different NETWORK PROVIDERS.....02, Vodafone, Virgin, Orange etc.....some people get their Software updates faster from say 02 than Vodafone....at the end of the day your hands are tied until they do so....
