have a look for a hairline crack across the glass, that is excatly what my second Z2 was doing when the glass cracked. It was sat on the table, in its case, playing music when it started doing that crazy nonsence. when I looked closely it had cracked from one side to the other, all on its own. I'm on my 3rd Z2 now!

Hi there, very interested in your situation - My Xperia Z2 has just developed a hairline crack on the front screen this weekend, as you mentioned you're onto your 3rd handset - could you please advise me what you've done to resolve such issues?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

As I can't really see any cracks on the screen, you should try the software repair option first, using PC Companion..

Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
How to backup?

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

This is what happened to my screen right after it cracked. You may have to hold it at different angles to see it.
