Of what I can get out of you description, it doesn't sound normal. I would suggest that you take it back to your retailer.

Hi, I bought Sony Z1 one 3 days before, more frequently i see a line like we see in Televisions due to network conjection, it seems screen is trying to adjust its screen settings, it normally happens when i call someone whose contact picture is not updated, i see a blank male face in light gray colour i can clearly see the blur lines running on its face and on the other upper and lower grey coloured part of the screen.

I am confused if this is actually an issue or some settings issues. Fyi i still have time i can go for a change and replacement of my phone because it is till 3 days old and Sony have some policy that a customer can replace the phone if any issue faced within 7 days of the buying the same.

Pls Assist And Advice further actions ???

Thanks in Advance !!!

Sony Z1 screen problems

Hi. I just had my screen replaced recently due to the screen cracking, anyway i had it for more than a week then the new update came out. 4.4.4. Build 14.4.A.0.118 so i updated my phone. Just a day after that i started noticing that my screen started seeing blurred lines over my screen. when i go in my apps and games i dont see it. when i look my photos it only happens over certain photos. When i customize my wallpaper i can see it mainly on the name of apps on my main screen.

I have tried to repair my phone with reinstalling the new update but still the same problem. Is it the screen or is it a software problem?

Kind regrds
