topic MW600 clip in XPERIA archive

The clip for my MW600 broke off recently. I have both the spring and the clip (broken) pieces, but attemping to superglue the clip back together doesn't give it enough strength to function properly and it keeps breaking off again. Overall the clip is extremely fragile and it appears a number of other people have experienced the same behavior.

When I tried to contact customer service about replacing the clip or purchasing a replacement clip they said they couldn't help me. Is there anything I can do to fix this and make my MW600 usable again?
