apps parallel running problem

My apps don't run parallel. For instance I have bank of India app and after logging in. It asks me to put in code smsed on your number. When I open the sms to see it and again go back to the app. It opens from start. Same thing happens when I open Google crome. It restarts or refreshes the page when I go back and open again. Is there any setting which I have to do for this. Pls help.

I tried doing it in safe mode but the problem persist.

Normally,the phone should support multitasking.I wonder why yours does this.
