Will we get official android 4.4? I heard that we're not going to get the update.

And 2nd, how to root android 4.3?

There's all sorts of rumours flying about. We'll just have to wait and see.

To root 4.3 you have to downgrade first, root and install cwm, then flash a pre-rooted 4.3 ftf. Info here:
