I bought my Xperia M Dual (C2005) . I've encountered a serious problem: when using 2 Sims it happens that the network signal gets lost for a moment and then returns after restarting or after few hrs a while! I have no network problems and my sims are working great on other mobile phones but when I use my Xperia M the network problem starts. I also tried some other sims on the phone but all of them have the same problem specially on sim 2. It is realy annoying. I tried diffrent network configurations in setting but non of them worked out the problem. I tried a hard reset but it did not help either.

Hi everyone.

I bought my Xperia M Dual (C2005) 3 days ago. I've encountered a serious problem: when using 2 Sims it happens that the network signal gets lost for a moment and then returns after a while! it happens on both sims but specially for the second sim cart which is a 3G one. I have no network problems and my sims are working great on other mobile phones but when I use my Xperia the network problem starts. I also tried some other sims on the phone but all of them have the same problem specially on sim 2. It is realy annoying. I tried diffrent network configurations in setting but non of them worked out the problem. I tried a hard reset but it did not help either. I tried updating my phone from android 4.2.2 to 4.3 but unfortunatly there is no updates available in either update center or Pc companion. As i discussed the problem in some forums I found that many others have the same network problem.

Please kindly help me solve this problem.

Thanks

Sorry I forgot to say that network problem also happens on Sim 1 which is a 2G one. I checked all available network mode such an GSM, WCDMA and so on. It did not solve the issue. It is the phone problem because lots of peaple have the same problem. I am completely disappointed of my buying. If there is a way to solve it please tell. or else please tell me to sell the phone ASAP.

I have reported this issue to service centre. however service centre guys are claiming that this is network issue.

I have tried these same Sim cards in my Samsung and friend's Micromax mobile. The Sim cards works properly without any issue.

This clearly shows that there is an issue with Sony Xperia M2 dual.

can anybody in this forum tell me what should I do if service centre guyz are not getting my point or they are not understanding the situation ????

I have sent several emails to Sony's support centre. I didn't get a single reply from them.

Thanks,
Amit Keskar

I tried updating it to android 4.3 but it did not fix the phone. Sony phones are garbages! I understood that many peoples encounter problems with their sony phones! I am about to sell the phone and get another gadget. Shame on sony!
