My screen goes black during call as normal
But the screen can still register touches
This made me end call(via my face)several times!

Anyone else with similar issues?

Are you certain that there's nothing partially blocking/covering the proximity sensor?

I mean the screen goes black when i put it to my face like it supposed to

But the screen can still register touches thus my face or finger sometimes end up ending the call

I have checked the diagnostic toll and build in check, the proximity sensor works, i guess it's just not disabling the screen during call

Yes exactly the same. It's not the proximity sensor. That works fine. But even when the screen is turned off by the proximity sensor it still registers touch. What also happens is proximity stops working randomly, leaving it in the screen off state so when you want to end the call you have to turn the screen on to hang up. Very annoying. I'm returning phone.

Had the same issue, i eventually solved it by disabling tap-to-wake-up.

I realize that disabling one feature to have another work is hardly a solution, but it is atleast a temporary one, untill (IF EVER) Sony fixes it with a software update.

Try it ou and see if it works:

Settings>Display>Tap to wake up (Remove the checkmark)

Cheers
