the flaps may get loose at some point of everyday use. The gum sealing might get dry and not act properly. Try to moisture the gum sealing with some silicone, gently and rather little from time to time, than once but a lot. I used a car silicone for door and window sealings and they work as from the box new.

Hi pal,

I too had the same problem but I found a way to cope up with it.

Just one small procedure has to be done, open the flap softly use a soft cotton bud to remove the dirt first and then use spirit or nail polish remover or thinner to clean the flap from inside (black rubber plug) and the white slot where the sim card is inserted. Use soft cotton to do the same. Also take care that more amount of spirit is not used. After doing the above mentioned procedure clean the total slot and black rubber with soft cotton to make it dry.

Check the rubber seal and around the housing for anything that shouldn't be there - Failing that you can buy a full set of flaps very cheap from Amazon for example and are extremely easy to replace yourself
