call end lag/slow

Hi

When I first got my phone about a month ago never had this problem. Now at the end of a call the screen takes 1-2 seconds to turn on, so I can never end my call before someone else does. It's pretty annoying and like I said the screen used to turn on as soon as I pulled it away from my ear. Anyone else have this problem or ideas for a fix?

Do you experience the same thing when you boot your phone into safe mode?

Still the same in safe mode.

What happened now half of my icons are missing after normal power on!?

In safe mode,they should be decimated(only default load).After that,they should be fine if you restart.

Yeh that's what should have happened but after normal restart icons are missing.

Force restart your device(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).

How sure are you that you are booting in normal mode?Could be that your volume down is pressed all the time?

The phone is 1 month old never dropped, highly unlikely.

Boot it again in safe mode and turn it off normally.Turn it on after.If this does not help,you might need to either try a repair of the software or visit a sony service for more assistance.

Its latest firmware Bug.
In earlier fw version didnt noticed such behavior.

Thanks inteli5, so better to roll back? I found phone was fine when first bought. Would rolling back have any adverse effects?

I'm waiting for a fix.

For me every new firmware is worse 😕 but I patient and waiting for new, better fw

Dont want to roll back.
