BlueTooth bug with car

Since the 4.3 update there's a big bug with the bluetooth connection with the car system - it still exists after a factory reset:

I paired the phone and the car. But every time they connect, I get a message box if I want to grant access to my phone's messages. Even the "Allow always" option does not work and I get asked every time. Very annoying!!

After updateing my SP to 4.3, the bluetooth car connection broke. I removed the connection and paired the phone with the car again - but the problem stays:

When I get into my car and it connects to my phone, the phone asks me EVERY TIME to allow access to my messages - regardless if I check the "Allow always" option or not.

So at the moment, the phone is nearly unusable in my car.

It was useless befor the upgrade as well, due to low volume problem....

clear your cache and reset your bluetooth to pair with car bluetooth

Hello,

I'm having the same issue after updating my Xperia SP to Android 4.3 (12.1.A.0.266).

In my car (Mercedes Benz A-Class from 2013) there is a radio called "Audio 20 CD" built in.

Every time when I want to get into my car, my smartphone wants a connection request for my messages (SMS).

The option "Always Allow" does not work. The phone does not remember the next time.

I tried several times a new pairing of phone and car radio and I cleared the cache of the bluetooth-share app and smart connect app, but this didn't solve the problem.

Is there a fix available?

And I can't even connect the phone. The car can't find the phone at all! The 4.3 is crop and I have do downgrade.

I'm having the exact same issue on my Xperia SP. Even if I select "Always allow" when the permission request for access to my message comes up, it always comes back. Very annoying! Please fix it Sony!

Have you tried to clear the car's HF-set memory of your phone - my Parrot's set has that option. Maybe try to clear both PHONE and HF-set...?

I am having the same issue. Xperia SP, with Android 4.3 trying to pair with Ford Sync with latest update.

It seems that this bug was not fixed. It is a real pain to have to interact with the phone every time you get in your car.

PLease SONY, fix this bug. It should not be that difficult!

yes, unfortunately I have to confirm, that the issue is not fixed in the newest Update 12.1.A.1.201.

The dialog "Always Allow" does not work.

Yes, please fix SONY...no evidence they actually read this....!!!! It's driving me mad in my Toyota Touch and Go....ping, ping, ping from the phone every 30 seconds, can't disable useless messages 'allow connection?', yes 'always allow connection'....arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Anybody can suggest a workaround that doesn't use a hammer??

Incredible - seems Sony did not fix this issue in the latest 205 build!!!

Can't believe it. Is it so difficult to fix the "always allow" tick box so that it actually works?

Please, could someone from Sony respond to this?

**bleep**,I hate this bug and they didn't fix it

It worked perfectly with a mazda cx5 2014 on android 4.1.2,now it is a pain in the **bleep**.

You have to search for your phone everytime you start your car,to allow the message service.

What a mess
