Emails not updating

My emails have stopped coming through to my phone. it says there are 200 unread but the new ones don't appear on the list . A blue side heading says Older email but I cant get newer ones to appear either by tapping the refresh symbol or pulling down the list. No new ones appeared after 27 March. Have checked email account details are correct. I generally know what I am doing with all this but cannot understand what has happened this time. Any ideas?

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

With the information supplied, I can advise that this sounds like a glitch within the email application. I suggest removing the account and performing a clear of data from the application.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > Email > Clear Data
