Restart loop

My phone last saturday has suffered from restart loop. When I opened it from shutdown, it showed the sony logo then experia then the xperia graphics and it should show my home screen after but it didn't. Instead it went back to the sony logo and so on, removing the battery didn;t do the trick. I resulted in bringing my phone to the nearest service center and all they did was a software repair. Before the problem, the latest os on my phone is 4.3(199). Now it's updated to (210) but the walkman app is not the latest one. Regarding the bugs if they were fixed, I can't answer it, I haven't explored the phone with the new build yet.

Have you tried taking out the SIM card?

Yeah I did that as well. I even tried pressing the power button and voiume up simultaneously (don't know where I got the idea) but it didn't work too.

It stayed one day at the repair center instead of what they promised 3-4hrs but it's okay now. My phone is just 3 mos old that's why I got frustrated by what happened to it.

have you any idea how to retrieve my back up file from my sd card? I've been trying to enter the passcode i am sure of nominated for my back up but it won't accept it.

Happened to me too. Sony must have an option to have a backup with no passcode.. I dunno if there was

Yeah, what's up with sony not letting us have a back up without a passcode. I really need to retireve my data.

yes to my back up file. i accessed it through back up icon and when i try to nter the passowrd i have nominated on it, it wont let me in.

You have backed up using PC companion?as I remember,it does not require a password.

that's the problem, i didn't use the pc companion to back up my files, it could've been easier using it since it doesn't require any password. The back on the phone needs a passcode and i swear the passcode that im enetering is correct but it wokn't accept. well i guess i have to move on because im never gonna be able to retrieve my files. I really hate when this happens.
