Headphone port waterproofing

Does anyone know how the headphone port is water proof? Curious as to how it works!

It will dry up,if there is no cover,it means that it should not have any problems.

I'm just wondering about the method of waterproofing. Does it have some kind of flap?

It does not have a flap,it is waterproofed and water does not damage the connectors inside,there is not that much pressure.

Kind of,the only port that is not covered but ensured as waterproof.

Thanks. Just thinking whether or not this port would be susceptible to durability issues regarding waterproofing with long term use (like the charging cover).

It should be just fine,but still you are thinking that water does get inside.

Hi all,

Just got my Z2 today and couldn't resist giving a quick dip in my fish tank and recording vid.

Well I did a 23 second video ensuring the little flaps were closed and it was great! However now I have water marks (like drips) running down inside the screen from under where the headphone is!

I'm not sure what I should do! I can't be without a phone if it needs.to be taken away and tested!

Has anyone else had this problem?
