Xperia U Slowed Down

Its been almost 16 months from date of purchase of XPERIA U, I am using 2.3 GB Phone & is lagging too much, When we return back to home, it takes few minutes to settle down also when camera is switched on, It takes few minutes to become normal & ready to take a snap..:smileysad: Why is it so? ANy Suggesstions? Will ICS update may possibly solve this Problem?

Are you using any battery savers or task killers?I would suggest also updating to ICS.

HI Anuj_7955,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

With the information supplied, I can advise that this can be due to low memory within the handset, if you are getting low on memory, I suggest you try remove any applications you no longer use, I also suggest removing taskkiller applications as they can cause issues.

In regards to the update, I do suggest performing this task as it will help the device with memory management.

No power saver but still lags a lot, I have heard negatives a lot about ICS so I am bit afraid of Updating

Even if I completely clear internal memory, It still lags..Just Irritates me.While typing also it takes more time.....

Also When I activate Xloud, Sound is disturbed largely when play on external speakers...Can this problem be solved by ICS Update?

You could try.I remeber when my xperia P received ICS,improved performance from GB.

You have antivirus,free ram apps and phone boosters.Remove any kind of apps like that.

I do not remember,I think there are sound improvements.
