&lt;P&gt;With the information supplied, I can advise that this can be due to low memory within the handset, if you are getting low on memory, I suggest you try remove any applications you no longer use, I also suggest removing taskkiller applications as they can cause issues.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;In regards to the update, I do suggest performing this task as it will help the device with memory management.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Its been almost 16 months from date of purchase of &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;U&gt;XPERIA U&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;, I am using 2.3 GB Phone &amp;amp; is lagging too much, When we return back to home, it takes few minutes to settle down also when camera is switched on, It takes few minutes to become normal &amp;amp; ready to take a snap..:smileysad: Why is it so? ANy Suggesstions? Will ICS update may possibly solve this Problem?&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Are you using any battery savers or task killers?I would suggest also updating to ICS.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
