There is a huge chunk of about 90 photos which appear to be just dark grey/black images. They are still physically there, e.g File path :/storage/emulated..........DSC_0653.jpg. its almost like they have just been blanked out. I've tried emailing them and transfering to my wifes Z1, but no joy.
