mobile data not working xperia sp

Hi i have upgraded my xperia sp to the latest version but i have a problem with the mobile data.it seems that is not working anymore.i tap and enable mobile data but no icon appear on the background and i cant use it.how to fix this please advice..but if i disable it there is a notifivation that mobile data is dis able.

I have already downloaded the internet serting via wifi.i have also enough credit to use mobile data.my problem is the mobile data icon is not displaying in the system tray...before it is working fine but now it wont work anymore..

Did you try to switch on and off Airplane mode and then turn back on Data mode? Maybe there is some glitch with your network connection?

Internet settings are not downloaded via wifi,are downloaded via mobile network.But I think you should repair via sony update service:

Still the same only wifi will re activate..

first be sure there is not any network problem(may be its down for maintance or etc)

try active and deactive airplane mode..be sure wi-fi s off..and sometimes it take times to data goes on.

B4 even if no network when i tap mobile data the icon will apear on the system tray..

Wait a second. Did I understand ok? You say you have Wi-Fi active after (de)activating Airplane mode?

But wasn't the thing with the Wi-Fi that when it is active, Mobile data is inactive - nevermind the on state of the Data button?
My phone only uses Mobile data, when is out of the reach of my Wi-Fi.

Did you try to disable Wi-Fi and to see if mobile network shows up?

i have active wifi because im near in a wifi hotspot.yes i turn off wifi befor turning airplane mode and after turning off wifi will be activated because i set it to auto connect if near in save spot...

I don't think you can use Wi-Fi (or Wi-Fi hotspot) and Data at the same time.

(Let someone correct me if there is a way to achieve that?)

Try to temporarily turn off Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot (and don't turn on Airplane mode), to see if you are getting Data connection. You can turn Wi-fi/Wi-Fi hotspot back on later.

I believe that could be the reason for you not getting mobile data notification icon.

No its not the data ability down because i remove my sim and place it on a usb modem and i can connect to the net meaning network provider have no issue..ty..

I did a force shutdown pressing the small butoon back of the phone no changes still.
