I don't know the type of xperia that i have, all i know is it's very recent. i changed my pattern unlock pattern last night, ive woken up this morning and my mind is totally blank as to what i changed it too. i can't do the email information as the contract was originally taken out for my cousin who then went and bought another contract so i took over the phone and tranfer payment to her and she has forgotten those details. ive tried all the unlock codes on youtube but nothings working. i dont mind having to wipe my phone, i just really need it up and running

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

With the information supplied, I can advise that you will be required to perform a software repair to remove the pattern lock. There will be no way to retrieve your data however. Please use the instructions below.

1. Download the PC Companion software from PC Companion and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

If PC companion does not work,use sony update service to repair:
