Sony Xperia frozen and can't connect to PC companion

Hello,

so last night I finished updating my phone. After updating, whenever I tried texting or calling the phone will automatically shut down. This morning when my phone alarm rang it shut down again and somehow it's now, what I assume to be, frozen on a black screen. I believe it's on since there's a flashing light at the bottom. I tried connecting it to the PC companion multiple times and it's not connecting.

What do I do?

Hi there,

Try the following:

Connect the phone to a wall charger > Press and Hold "Power Button" and " Volume Up" at the same time for 10 seconds until you feel 3 vibrations(just to make sure that the phone is completely turned off) > Charge it for 2 hrs > Repair/re-install the phone software with Sony Update Service.
