Hey everyone,

I got myself a Z1 on 14.04 and I only had issue with it so far. After charging it for a whole night Power Management showed 19 hours of battery life, even through I saw on other phones showing up to 5 days ( I know it is not real time but still massive difference). With showing 19 hours I could barely make it last through my 8 hour work shift with moderate usage. I cannot play any videos, it just stays there loading and nothing else happens.

I have read through a few messages here on the forum and I have updated it to Kitkat4.4.4 and latest build version through the PC Companion, it hasn't made any difference. I have tried afterwards to reset it to the factory settings and it finally showed my more then 19 hours. I played nad used it all day long today, draing entirely the battery and now after charging it again I am back to square 1. I want to send it back cuz I am still within the cooling off period but I really like Sony phone ( have used a ARC for 2.5 years still have it and battery on it lasts longer then the Z1) but I just want to know if there is anything else I can do.

I have stamina mode on, data nad wifi off, sync off, battery saver on. queued background data on, GPS off,

I even tried to use it in Safe Mode and so far has not made any difference.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Suzy
