Help!! Read Error, Try Again!!

I have a Z1 that keeps coming up with a "help read error" message, the only problem is, by looking at everyones ill advice on the forum, that this has something to do with the SD card. The only thing is, I don't have an SD card inserted into my phone... what can I do to rectify this?

Hi maxiemj,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

When using a case or cover that has a slot for a credit/debit card, you must be sure that NFC is turned off, as some cards use NFC technology, essentially the NFC on the back of the handset is trying to communicate with the card and creates this read error.

I suggest either turning off NFC or place you card in another location.

I hope this helps.
