useless battery

Hello, ive had my experia xp about 10 weeks now and im not happy with the battery life. I send a few text messages and make only 1 or 2 calls daily. I don't use the wi-fi anymore because it kills the battery. My battery on standby only lasts about 19 hrs....this can't be right. Please help 🙂

no..sp life battery life on normal use is more beyond than 19 hours

goto setting>power managment>battery use..see what use your batterey

Go to settings - Battery and see whats using your battery as you could have apps working in the background eating away at your battery

How do i know if i have apps working away in the back ground??

check setting>apps>running

They will probably be at or near the top of the list for battery consumption

battery use, screen 72%

android system 16%

all the rest are 1 & 2 %

IT seems fine,screen is the first consumer.Do you have any task killers or battery savers?

If it's your screen then it could be brightness up high or your screen is always on - you could try Settings - display and setting your screen to auto turn off after 1 or 2 minutes of inactivity
