&lt;P&gt;Perhaps you don't have auto sync enabled under settings &amp;gt; auto sync, if off, turn it on. Then go to email under accounts in the same menu &amp;gt; press on your Hotmail account &amp;gt; mark 'sync emails'.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Then it should work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you still experience problem I suggest that you download Microsoft Outlook (Hotmail) application from Google Play:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi I just bought my Sony xperia z1 coming from iphone. I tried setting up my email which worked, I set it to automatic push but it wont push emails on my phone. I get no notifications or anything. in order to see my emails i have to manually refresh the email app. maybe i got the settings wrong. does anyone know how to set up email on the z1? i have a hotmail account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please someone help as i really need email on my phone for my work&lt;/P&gt;</description>
