I've tried this, but the same happened. Now that I am checking it every time that I call or when called and it worked properly once but then failed to work again. The problem seems to be intermittent with a different outcome for phone calls as little as 30 seconds apart.

Regards,

Matt.

Hi I am having problems with my proximity sensor not turning the screen off when I make phone calls. The screen only turns off after 30 seconds and then when I pull the phone away from my ear the screen won't appear again. It seems that the proximity sensor is not working at all, however when I run the diagnostics it detects my finger over it easily. Can someone help me!!!

Thanks,

Matt.

You should try to repair via sony update service,if you wish.Another option would be to take the phone to closest sony service to check the sensor.
