Xperia mini pro won't start again

Hi,

yesterday we tried to install some updates for some applications on my mini pro, my boyfriend shut it down to restart again and to continue pdating. Since then, it won't start again. I press the power button and nothing works. The battery was on full power, so this shouldn't be the issue.

I found some advices on the internet like pressing the power button whiel holding the volume up button, but nothing works. Can somebody please help me with this issue?

Hi there,

Remove the battery for a few minutes and then put it back in > Charge your battery for 1 hr > Try to turn the phone on.

If that doesn´t work, perform a software repair with Sony Update Service.

Sony Update Service

NOTE: Make sure that your battery at least charged 60 % and the phone have to be completely turned off.

Hi,

well, i already tried what you requested first: I removed the battery & put it back in. And i charged it overnight, so i think, this isn't the solution i need.

But i'll try the software repair, just have to wait til my boyfriend comes home, so he can help me. He is my IT-Guy 🙂

Hi again,

well the software repair solved nothing, my moblie still didn't start again. I even callde technical Support, an d she requested to send it in for a thorough check up as it had to be a Hardware problem.

BUT after charging it about 24 Hours, we tried to turn it on one last time, sudeny my phone woke up, started again and worked like nothing happend. All my data, my pictures on it, my contacts, evryting was still there, the phone worked like there never was a problem. I dont't aun derstand, how that worked, i mean, shouldn't be everything lost?

And it didn't even make sense, that it worked after being charged for a day, as the battery was originally full charged.

I don't wanna complain about my phone working again, i'm just happy it 's back online and i didn't even miss the call from my Boss to be. But i still think it's pretty weird.

Do you happen to know, were that came from? I#m pretty curious, because i just don't understand ist.

Anyway, thank you for your help, it was really nice of you. And if anything happens again, i'm gonna consult you again.

Sorry, but I really do not know what the cause of your problem, it seems mysteriously, but in any case I'm glad that you found a solution for your Mini Pro and now you can enjoy while you are using it.
