Given the (well known) problem with being unable to move apps to the SD card, I'm astounded to discover my limited storage space being taken up with assorted Amazon apps (Local, MP3, Appstore) that I didn't install and don't seem to be able to remove following updating to 4.3 earlier today. If it's relevant, I'm in the UK, and with T-mobile/EE. Is there a way round this?

Yes, I did try that but Uninstall isn't an option, just Disable, with a warning if I do it may make other apps "misbehave". Also tried via Google Play, and AVG AntiVirus apps.

Apps that have been preinstalled by the operator can usually not be removed. You should however be able to disable most of them.

But uninstalling these apps would not give you more space for apps and files. Preinstalled apps are stored in the phones system partition. You can't install apps or save files there yourself.
