Hello guys, I'm creating this topic because I haven't found anything helpfull so far on the internet.

Well my problem is, my Xperia E dual is not showing any service for my main service provider, it is stuck on the emergency calls only.

I am from Brazil, and and have 2 SIMs, one of them is from a service provider called TIM, this is the one with no service. My other SIM card, however, is working perfectly, it is from a service provider called Oi.

Well, I'm pretty sure it is not a SIM's problem becase I've tryed it on other cellphone and it is working.

So far I've tryed to do a hard reset and run the repair tool from Sony PC Companion, with no luck at all.

Another thing that might worth mentioning, my xperia recognizes my frinds numbers saved in my TIM SIM, (in other words it recognizes the SiM itself) but has no service.

Can someone enlighten me?

Oh, my cellphone still has warranty by the way.

Thanks in advance!

Try to use first SIM on WCDMA/GSM and the second on GSM only.See if that makes any difference.

With the information provided, I can advise that I agree with Alexdon, the handset needs to be checked by a service agent, however before you perform this task, I suggest that you back up the handset first.

I got this problem too last January, but I brought my phone to the Sony Centre and they fixed it for me
Something to do with the hardware if I'm not mistaken. Because I dropped my phone a few time before.

Not sure about you, though. Good luck.
