Hi Cats.

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

With the information supplied, I can advise that this is more likely related to a third party application. I suggest going through any newly updated or downloaded applications and checking their settings.

Third party applications can change the way the tablet works, they simply override the tablets settings.

I hope this helps.

Please could someone advise me regarding my Xperia Z tablet. Yesterday the screen has started to go dim and go off after a few seconds of not touching it, I then have to press the switch on button to get back. I set the tablet to "never" close down when I set up the tablet and I checked my AVG anti virus and that's also set as "never" close down. This is the first time this has happened to me. I would appreciate some advice please. Many thanks.
