Hello, I'm a new user of the smartwatch 2 who is... Destroying his computer screen at the moment... I just cannot connect the smartwatch 2 to my 4.0.4 android, it is stuck on the Smart Connect screen, I installed it, tried without bluetooth cache, etc... Maybe I'm just doing it wrong, but can you help me ? Thanks

Sorry to inform you but SW2 does not work with Android 4.0.4 even when Sony states it works 4.0 and higher versions. The only thing you can do is to pair the watch with your friends phone who has later Android version. Then SW2 software will be upgraded and then you can pair SW2 with your phone again only to find that it does not work with your phone and your phone battery drains in hours. So do not even try to connect your SW2 with your phone.

The good news is that you can use your SW2 as a regular watch! Yeee

The only solution is than you must upgrade your phone Android to later version somehow. I used to have Android 4.0.4 and EXACLY the same problem. Then I found unofficial ROM to my phone in XDA-Developers forum and now im running Android 4.3.1 and SW2 works 90%. It still sometimes looses connectivity but quickly connects again and when phone screen is been idle for long time then SW2 is haveing hard time stayig connected.

Good luck!
