Overheating issue while using 3g Internet

When im surfing on 3g network the phone gets overheated very fst nd it reaches to the temperature of around 45-46c within few mins due to which the battery drains quickly...
Is tht an issue or is it normal??
Plz rply ASAP

Hi,

Do you experience similar problem if you are connected to a Wi-Fi network?

What is draining the battery if you check under settings > power management > battery usage?

No while using wifi the overheating is not there nd when using 3g network the overheating doesn't happen if im just chatting lke whats app or fb messenger but while browsing or doing anything else makes the cell phone heater. It also happens while playing games with higher graphics..

In the games case,that is normal.The games have high requirements and they stress the phone.About 3G browsing,how is your network coverage?

It is ok
The network fluctuates in between but not always..

If you boot the phone in safe mode,does the same overheating issue occur?

Yes the heating is still there but not tht much but still the battery drains very quickly

In battery usage it shws mst of the battery is used by screen nd android os nd chrome uses 8-10% nd 1-2%rest of the apps..
But the battery drains very fst even while watching videos.
I can't do a s/w repair coz i don't hve pc..

You could go with a factory settings reset,but a software repair is more complex.

I tried factory reset but still the battery drains very quickly. On an average i get 5-6hrs of battery if i do browsing nd watch videos.

In this case,you should visit a sony service and they will repair software for you.
