Upgrading firmware

I am upgrading to version 4.3 from mobile not from PC companion, so before upgrading what stuff is needed to do ??

Will it erase all my setting, data, downloaded apps, APN, MMS, SMS, phone number,..etc ?? My download is reaching almost 90%.

Backup everything on your computer and/or clouds as you could lose everything on your phone (pictures, videos should not be deleted)

You can't backup your app/games data, unless you root your phone

Will it create any problem after updata ?? Can now after update, app/games be transferred to SD Card ??

Android doesn't support this feature anymore (to transer apps to sd card), you need to root your phone > partition your SD card > install an app that will allow you to do so, there are certain companies that had added this feature but its not part of Xperias anymore

Sony SHOULD(MUST) add this feature, its a very useful feature with less internal memory.

It may be a downfall for Xperia devices.

I also had apps installed from unknown sources, Does upgrade affect them ? ? And have you noticed any problem/errors after upgrading to 4.3 ??

How much memory should be free in order to upgrade ??

It doesn't affect anything. No new problems only the usual ones faced by others like volume bar bug, be2 not working, led is not in sync with music. Free memory is not a prerequisite as the system already reserves some memory.

I have started to download new firmware 4.3 from phone not by software and is in the brink to reach 100%(~97%), Will it automatically install the new update or it will ask to install or not ?? Please reply fast .

I guess it's done already as I'm late. if you're phone is connected then it'll automatically install the update.

I haven't connected my phone to PC. I have paused by turning off wifi. I didn't use sus or pc companion for upgrade.
