Hi guys, is there any way that I can downgrade my firmware to 4.1.2 as I'm not satisfied with the recent upgrade of 4.3... Can I downgrade it officially from Sony service center.

Thanks,

If i downgrade to 4.1.2 will i lose my warranty? I got my SP for christmas, and i wouldn't like to void my warranty. But i hate 4.3, laggy, even Flappy Bird has lag spikes. And slow as **bleep**.

Maybe void that

But if you do the basic thing like factory reset or software repair and problem still persist I suggest wait for new update that will come in few days

ALMOST EVERY OCCASSION.. the moderator or ambassador replied here from like 2 weeks ago and said "the update would be their in few days and months" Well 2 weeks have passed and yet every Sony xperia SP user is sufferring. So Sony, what do you have to say for yourself now..

@shaheer

Backup your data and try a repair install with SUS. That seems to work fairly well for most people.

If you're still having problems it's easy enough to downgrade to 4.1.2.

Sir the thing is I would love to downgrade to 4.1.2 but wherever i read this is only possible via rooting and I dont want to get into that mess. Also it is not only me, my friend, colleague and myself, we all have Sony xperia sp and we all are facing same issue, the phone is really slow. If you google it, you will find that number of people are facing this issue with 4.3 update. I also read somewhere that a repair update is on its way, but I dont know how long it will take

I don't know why any of moderator or ambassador accepts that 4.3 is a joke to customers.
And every time I have seen they are suggesting either sus/factory reset or root.
No one can downgrade manually causing of warranty problem.
See we are loosing our warranty period. And when new version comes our paperweight (xperia sp from 4.3) will out of warranty.
And who knows how's new update.
Why Sony is not giving us option for downgrade to 4.1 officially by sus or PCC as a special Event.
More than 90% of users demanding it. And when the New update will arrive they have to remove this option.
Otherwise we all sp owners have to suffer with having a super smart phone from a premium brand.
