Xperia SP lags while in settings

Hello guys,
After the latest update the phone has become very fast and smooth, as it was with 4.1.2. However a bug still occurs (it started with the first 4.3 update) some times. When I go to settings and clear cache or ram management my phone starts lagging out of nowhere. The weird thing is that it doesn't freeze, it works and I can scroll and move around the menu or whatever. However, nothing actually works, for example I try to open viber but it doesn't show messages etc. I have to hard reset my phone as I can't even turn it off pressing the power button. It's getting really frustrating. I installed the latest software with clean install using SUS and performed factory resets before and after updating.

Same as me...it says 'setting is not responding' do you want to close it???? It's really annoying because I always get it each time I enter the settings menu!!!

It's very annoying and I can't always carry a pen when I am outside to perform hard reset nor wait for 10 minutes for it to restart by itself...

Try

Setting>apps>all>setting clear cache and data then force stop and reboot your phone...see how it goes

After a day of full use, no changes as well. Same thing happens... Xperia SP is a beautiful phone with great hardware but Sony's software has made it a waste... I am extremely disappointed...

I booted my phone to safe mode for several hours, used it as always but the problem didn't occur. What app might lag the phone when I am in settings >apps and for what reason? That's very weird.

Looks like some 3rd party app is causing this try to pinpoint the app then Uninstall.

What kind of app might cause this problem when I am in apps - settings? It doesn't make any sense, as u don't have this problem at any other point. Yes Alex I am willing to do a software repair once again, I would like to ask something first. What if I perform factory reset, then install with PC Companion (I used SUS the other 2 times) and then factory reset again? Do you think this could be better or just try and see what happens? Thanks for your replies guys.

The other option would be to let it be as it is and not go to settings this often, only once in 2-3 days to clear cache.

You should first reinstall with PCC or SUS,after that do a factory settings reset.
