ive been reading a few problems about the speaker after the kit kat update saying it would fix the issue but no if anything for me its being more and more fequent this is getting annoying and this will be the 2nd z1c ive had direct from sony so there's no bloatware from a network in there to mess it up this is annoying ive missed calls alarms messages just like everyone else complaining about this issue on another note i never had this major problem with apple yes i said it... this will be my first and last try at an andriod phone only thing i will miss is the waterproof/dustproofing

No mention of what firmware version you are using if it's .681 then wait for .757 and the issue should be fixed - If it's not for you then you must be one in thousands upon thousands to claim to still have this issue - The update fixed the issue for me but untill the update fix I simply uninstalled Chrome updates and turned of auto Play updates from the Play app settings

I'm currently on android 4.4.4 and I've lost all sound on the speaker aswell, alarms, tones, love speaker. Is there a fix available or does the phone have to be sent back to Sony-which I had to do with an xperia t when the same thing happened??

Since the update KitKat the speaker does not work, even with the Lollipop upgrade, have not considered, at least?
