Hi, I just bought the Xperia x10 and I'm having issues with wifi connectivity which after search the net I can see a lot of other people are too. I've connected to my home wifi system and it says the connection is excellent but whenever i try to load a web page it says no network connection available and in settings it says mobile network state unavailable. As soon as I turn wifi off I can access websites on 3g network. I've tried upgrading to android 2.1 but it's still not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to reset the wireless settings, then install this app. It will automatically reconnect to wifi....some people have ben having issues with it disconnecting & not re-enabling itself.

Try with another Wi-Fi network to confirm the fault, phone or Wi-Fi network?

Did you try lightyear0420 or gwhispererz's recommendation, did you try connecting to another network? If you did can you tell us what happened?

Hi, i also have a problem with my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i with regards its wi-fi connectivity. Similar with Mayaaksm's problem, I can actually find and connect to the wi-fi network, according to what my phone indicates, but when i tried to browse the internet it always prompts me that there is no connectivity, or the phone will just keep on loading the page. I've tried this on several wi-fi networks already and to no avail.

I wanted to try lightyear0420's suggestion, but the link was already dead. I also updated already my phone, repaired using PC Companion, and even reformatted it. But still the problem remained.

Could anyone help me please. Thank you.

Hallo , I have also the same issue where i used the static ip , but still gives no internet in my mobile . the steps which i followed

- updated my phone from 2.1 to 2.3 , the wifi was a issue with limited connectivity status

- i searched for all forum for a solution , i got a temporary solution to use the static IP , i configured the static IP , but still i get no internet

Kindly can you help ?

thanks a lot , i checked these config in the router , the router has the WEP and the all the settings seems to be fine , the WIFI was very well working untill 2.1 , i did the update to 2.3 yesterday and the problem started , i see that there is a bug in the 2.3.3 firm ware , since many has the same issue nad people are still suffering

Did you try other Wi-Fi networks?

unfortunately we have the home network and we don't have other wifi

but the laptop and other electronic devices are able to connect to the home network

Check router channel again, try using channel 11 or lower.

Either check the router's instruction manual or contact router's manufacturer support.

the channel value seems to be already lower than 10 as the default value

The channel number is now 6

still i have the same issue

Any way to check if there is any update for your router? I guess the only way is to check online or with the router manufacturer.

actually this is a new router which we bought , just 3 mnths old

and iam surprised to hear that most of them who has done the xperia x10 update has the same issue and still the bug is not fixed from Sony side

And this router works with all other devices (xbox, laptop , PC )

I hope you don't lose much customers due to this
