PC Companion and update problem

Hi Just bought a nev xperia V a few days ago. Had great difficulty conecting phone with PC Companion. After everal tries I got it.

It updated my phone to Android 4.1.2 and now says that I up to date with software.

Why does it not update to Android 4.3 ????

My friend bought the same phone same day but I was unable to connect to PC Companion on his PC.

Also problem that usermanual for this phone is only for Adroid 4.3.

What can I do ??

You may already have the latest software, depending on the date of purchase. Software updates are released at different times depending on operator and/or country. Therefore, we cannot give you an exact date for when a specific update will be available for your device.

Sorry my english is not to good. Also sorry for asking 3 questions at once.

1. is there a better program than PC Companion to use for backup of software and upgrade phone?

2. Is it possible to upgrade this phone to Android 4.3 now or later ? Model nr. LT25I. Adroid version 4.1.2

Software version 9.1.A.1.140. IMEI:35510105-502402-7. Belive I read somewhere that Android 4.3 was ready for Denmark.

3. The usermanual downloaded from Sony DK site, is for Adroid 4.3. Some of the menu screen are not the same for my phone. Can I get one for this version ?

Hi I solved my problem 1. The problem was my friends laptop a Toshiba with some sort of battery saving on the USB port. I have updated his phones an lock in on PC companion on his other PC.

No real answer to my question 2 and 3.
