Hi,

This time last week, my Xperia U would last approx 2 days on a full charge. Since Tuesday of this week it is struggling to reach 8 hours - my usage is totally unchanged and I have neither installed nor uninstalled any apps. Power Management/battery shows Google Services 51%, Keypad 43% followed by wifi at 3% etc. Sync is disabled.

I have rebooted several times but phone currently says 91% battery, discharging and 43m 43s on battery.

Please help!!

Well that seems to have been a waste of time given that the Xperia U is not an option when asked to select device. 😞

You need to run SUS in compatibility mode with windows 7.

Sorry, I think you misunderstand. The programme is installed and running fine but, despite there being countless phones and tablets available to apply software updates to, the Xperia U is not available as an option to choose. Xperia M? Yes. Xperia Z? Yes. Tablets, clamshell phones? Yes. Xperia U? No. Would selecting a different model work and, if so, which one? My guess is the programme you directed me to does not support the Xperia U.
