I love how you can't even have the decency to reply to an upset customer too..

I feel like starting a new website designed for upset Sony customers, give them the freedom they deserve to say how they're upset, maybe have a section for phones from other phone providers who give their customers respect and the **bleep** updates they pay for. (bearing in mind that their phones can support it and it's not just the maker being lazy like Sony.)

I have been a Sony user for the past 8 years and ever since Sony moved to Android I've been getting more and more frustrated.

I have now had two Android mobiles from Sony and I have reached the point I just cannot carry on being a Sony customer.

I had an Xperia ARC S from 2011 - 2014 and I must say I loved the phone I even prefer it to my Xperia SP, but what bugged me? Sony's lack of care about customers and not providing the latest Android update like other companys provide their customers.

I got my new Xperia SP in june 2013, at the start I was happy, but things took a turn for the worse, I started getting a blank screen upon pressing the power button so I could unlock the screen, this resulted in me having to keep pressing the power button till the screen lit up, but is this all? sadly not, I have a thing called Asperger's syndrome also and sometimes I cannot wake up so I have to set an alarm or I over sleep and miss things, I also get very frustrated when things don't work right, in this case the phone would freeze and the alarm would stay on I couldn't turn it off AT ALL! you can't remove the battery on an Xperia SP meaning I had to keep pressing buttons till the phone worked sometimes it took me 5 minutes just to turn it off...

I was also very disapointed in battery life, I could have the phone fully charged and it would say 99% when I went to sleep but in a mere 6 hours it would be down to 13% and I sadly had to resort to using an iPhone 4 which lasts me 3 days on a full charge.

I recently saw Sony had decided to offer us Android 4.3 and I jumped with excitement thinking I could finally use the Xperia SP, I live in the UK and I am with T-Mobile/EE but it wasn't until today I finally got Android 4.3 for my Xperia SP.

Instantly after upgrading I regretted it, the light menu's hurt my eyes since I have light sensitivity issues (a part of Aspergers), it looks ugly/rushed and I am sorry Sony but you have just lost a long term customer, I feel like taking a huge "self censored" on this Xperia SP and binning it. why? because "self censored" is all Sony seems to provide us.

Sony do you even care about your customers or just the $$$$? It seems you prefer to release tons of devices and no support for the devices you have already released.

Hi there - this forum is mainly a community effort, so you're not guaranteed to get a response from a Sony support person (although they do occassionally do reply).

You would be better off contacting UK customer support:

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/support/contact-us/
