Alexdon - I've tried that. Can't take a vid Right now to check, though did look in storage and it looks the same.
DaniAl- no, it tells me memory is full. When my pc links to the phone the sd storage is shown In red and I can see that it's nearly full. Also, almost every day I get an alert that internal storage is almost full and can I transfer to sd, then when I try the sd says there's no room
Hi. Whenever I try to take a video my memory says it's full. I've deleted videos and pics to a skeletal minimum. Way way lower than a few months back when it was fine. My sd card keeps saying it's nearly full yet when I hook it up to my pc there just seem to be loads of empty folders. What's going on?

I have no idea how to format my sd card, I am not technical at all and often feel phone companies expect a level of knowledge not many of us have. It took me ages just To Get my pics onto the pc, and that's still not right, my pc and phone can't ever find eachother to throw things, not ever. One isn't told how to do these things

Well do this

First goto setting>xperia>usb connectivity>usb connection mode change it to "mass storage mode"

Then connect phone to pc then a new drive will appear on my computer windows..then right click on it and click on format..after a new window opend then click on format button

But formating will erase all of data on SD CARD so if you have anything on sd card copy them to pc before format
