Micro SD card

Hi,

My Micro SD card was recognised by my Xperia L when I put it in and most of the content worked - then after a month (aprox) the phone put up a message - Warning SD card unmounted unexpectedly. I hadn't done anything to the phone, but from then on, the phone won't recognise the card. If I link it via USB cable, it can recognise the photos in a DCIM folder, but the phone keeps saying - "please insert SD card".

Is there anything I can do?

Hi Vennger,

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

With the information provided, I suggest backing up the SD card to a PC if possible, and once this has been done I suggest using a PC to format the SD card.

Once this has been done, pop the SD card back in to the handset and see if the device can read it.
