Phone Replacement

I had purchased an expensive Xperia Z1 in Oct 2013. Its just been 6 months and my mobile internet will not connect. I do not get E or H or H+ next to the battery indicator on the top. I had contacted the xperia service center and they said they will flash the phone which should solve the problem. 3 days later, the phone is flashed but still mobile data not working. When I asked them, they said that since the phone is in warranty, this phone will be replaced with the re-furbished phone. My phone was relatively new so why do i have to accept a scratched or a refurbished phone. And this refurbished phone will take another 10 days to come. So end of the day, I pay 40k odd for buying a phone which I feel is reliable but 6 months down the line, the phone gets faulty and I have to stay with out a phone for 10 days as you guys do not give out a spare phone and after 10 days get sme1 else's refurbished phone as mine which does not have a warranty again.

Is this a joke? People buy high end phones thinking of the reliability and all the customer service they would get considering that they have paid a huge sum for the phone. But Sony Xperia has disappointed me both the ways, the reliability and customer service.

So someone plz get back to me on this and ASAP.

Amit shah, Are you from mumbai..? I am facing similar problem (not same)..!! And if i don't get reply from anyone i.e. Customer Support of Sony India, Distributor from where i had purchased my phone, etc. within 48 hours i am going to register case at Consumer Court..! You can read my issue..!!
