Sorry if this has been mentioned before but i a few days ago via PC Companioin updated my Z1 to 4.3.

After intial issues of certain webistes not loading, facebook not displaying images, linkedin not displaying images aswell as a sky sports widget not working correctly it seems to have sorted itself out - i think!

HOWEVER i have just noticed that although the update is 4.3 i am still on 14.2.A.0.290 why has this not updated to 14.2.A.1.136.

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question!

Matty

Lucky you that you cannot update to .136!
.136 is so messed up by Sony and buggy I wish I could downgrade to previous version!
See other posts related to crappy .136!
Performance is degraded (also in games), there are problems with Bluetooth, problems with proximity sensor, battery drains much faster (even in Stamina during night when you do not use it), camera is worse and more noisy and more more bugs!
There is only white balance - one new feature, but almost everything else is broken. Believe me it is not worth to upgrade to .136

Sony please fis the issues or allow us to rollback to previous version by PC Companion!
Noone wants this buggy soft!

As a UK sim free owner of the Z1 I can say that only two branded network phones have the .136 update - In order for the Sim free phones to have the update then all networks in the UK where we are have to aproove the update

(problems with sound enhancements and equalizer).

Not only SameSung produce buggy soft nowadays but it seems Sony is joining "the party"!
Noooooo!
Next choice should be HTC, because there is only LG... or Apple...
Finally Apple will deliver something with bigger screen.
At least Apple delivers a long support for its devices, not like one year for Android...

I've upgraded mine to 136 last week, the phone is slower and buggy since then, need to restart few times a day, heats up VERY fast every time I turn the mobile data on, it heats up a little after 30 minutes of use BEFORE, and now it gets hot in "3" minutes AFTER the **bleep** update, and it's getting hot while I'm typing now, seriously is this an update or I'm being trolled by Sony??
